  • Good luck Sparky, I'd say try and get a few gentle jogs in this week to keep th legs ticking over, 3km at race pace would be fine, but it'll stop your legs feeling dead on the day.

    Surely the only good thing about treadmills is being able to watch tv no? Surely if you can focus on a screen you must have terrible balance/coordination. Admitedly at 20kph it starts getting hard to do anything other trhan put one foot in front of the other!

    I fell out of love with running last week so decided I wasn't even going to bother. Feel a bit more into it this week, but I think I need to read born to run again or I won't get round thuis marathon, let alone in target time...
