They sent me this picture a couple days ago, the colour is supposed to be a very deep purple but the paint shop messed up, the paint is really thin. to be honest im not too bothered really, i didn't want to go through all of the hassle of getting them to send it back to the paint shop.
Also looks like im one of the last people to get the old drop outs but personally they dont really bother me as much as some other people.
With any luck it might tun up some time this weeks as it was apparently sent out on thursday.

Also in terms of price it was a custom geo with glittery paint, integrated headset, smooth welds, old dropouts and cost £204

I already stretch, going for a proper bike fit next weekend, seta hurts my tender bits though :/
your seat's too high

ok drawn up a cad for missus' mielec; tell me what is wrong with this, she is a midget (157cm height) I used bikecad's calculator i.e. put in body measurements and just click on 'apply to bikecad'
Need this to be similar to this; disc mounts and clearance for 32c tyres + mudguards

^ really want it to be 700c so we can share the wheelset/tyres tubes etc. This 46cm Langster would've been perfect but Specialized isnt selling it in the uk sadly, the other option was pearson, but nothing is as cheap as OTP langster or Mielec

I suppose as long as you can save a few quid on inner tubes good geo and sizing is irrelevant.
-
• #3161
^ common you know what I mean + there are more rim options as well for 700c
-
• #3162
But if you go 650 you can get plastic wheels way cheaper :)
-
• #3163
plenty of range for 26inch wheels as well, plus it will look proportioned..
-
• #3164
what you spend on tubes/tyres you will save on fork, as forks with steerer that ridiculously short go for a fiver or less..:)
-
• #3165
hmm should i just put in the body measurements again and instead of 700c select 650c wheels in BikeCad, I am a noob to CAD
-
• #3166
also, can 700c disc fork work with 650c wheel? Kinesis DC37 to be exact
-
• #3167
Yeah 26" trispoke can be had cheap, just ask Martin.
-
• #3168
565mm front centre with 700c is toe ovelap area?
-
• #3169
Havent considered that buy even the bike I ride has toe overlap due to being tiny-ish (52 TT) and 0 rake fork, but yeah I get what you mean, so guide me master, 650c then what?
-
• #3170

yours was 24inch you numpty

the hub is the same, so why not!
-
• #3172
because the A-C will fuck up the geo, unless it is designed around a 700 fork, ofc.

• #3173

Shit what?
-
• #3174
so what should I do? 650c or 700c?
-
• #3175
650, you'll possibly struggle to find a fork, but the geo and feel will be more suitable.
Hm yeah, at that price it's not very tempting - especially with the lead times. Think I'd rather get a Dolan or a tfg Dart
