I coughed up hundred and ninety four quid yesterday for Hope V twin in the end after reading up on BB7+Sram levers .. if you are quick you can get them from wiggle (3 left in stock) at 15% discount using 15-EXTRA code. Thats the cheapest you can find on the interwebz.
BB7 are £100 for a pair so I don't think it's too much money for V twin considering they are hydraulics, there is weight penalty but I don't thin you'd care about that for this build.
