Sorry for my mild hysteria yesterday. I tried this before I went to bed to have nightmares about giant blue stickers invading Earth and once they were stuck to you, there was no getting them off. Ever.

Before you use nail varnish remover try WD40. Spray it all over the sticker and leave it to soak overnight. Repeat the process a few hours later and see if an edge has come loose. It should loosen up the glue and definitely won't cause any damage to the paintwork which nail varnish remover might.

But happily, this ^ worked a treat.

PS - the sticker was from the bike shop original owner purchased from. So it had been on for 20+ years.
