This is my Merckx Corsa project , nothing can be done that risks the original paint. I mean, I'd just have to top myself if I knackered it.

It's just that the sticker looks like it's been there a good decade.

Thus raising the possibility that the paint underneath it will not have faded to the extent that the uncovered paint has? Which could mean that if you remove the sticker, you'll have a sticker-sized bit of paint that doesn't match the rest of the frame. None of which helps you much...
