The BB shell is 100mm wide and outboard bearings add a few cm on each side. If they've built it like I designed it, the cranks will fit. The q factor on fatbike cranks is huge.
Saw this on MTBR. Massively cool. But is the chainring clearance looks real close though.
What chainline you aiming for?
Is it going to be single speed?
I think fatbike standard is 64mm. MTB standard is 50mm, add 16mm BB width, and you get the 66mm. But most fatbike cranks dont often use BB spacers, and MTBs usually have 2mm on the DS. So removing that leaves you with 64mm.
I'm running a DS spacer regardless (well BB mounted chain keeper) so will have a 66mm chainline. Although my hope is to run a single ring in the outer position of a triple crankset. So its more like 70mm at the front, and 65/66mm at the rear (I have a cassette spacer).
Cool looking frame. I hope all the numbers work out for you (kinda stressed about mine).
