Maybe it's just me, but a Moots stem was one of the best (and most notable) parts upgrade to my Merlin.
Its looking awesome wharry, but I admit I would like to "see" a Ti Stem, or Edge/Enve seatpin on there.
If the Challenge tyres let you down, I've been running rivendell Ruffy Tuffy's on my Ti Bike over winter and they seem to have held up well, 28c mind.
