  • Ha, I contemplated watching it this evening when I was on my way home. Your reviewhas left me intrigued.

  • Django is great.

    Factiod.

  • I feel like getting my rage on. Gonna go see Cloud Atlas later.

  • Just watched Django unchained again. Tatantino back to his brilliant best.

  • Saw Django unchained other day. series of weak one-liners strung together with tongue in cheek violence and cinematic cliches. quite surprised at the adulation upthread. He doesn't seem interested in characters anymore. I walked out after 90 minutes and had a pint, bought a second pint and took it back in to keep girlfreind company when the barman told me there was still an hour to go. It got a bit better later on but it just isn't funny enough to get away with being so crass. People talk about it being 'cool to hate tarantino at the moment'. Whatever, dont hate him, he's just got boring.

  • The first grader. Wow. What an amazing film

  • Cloud Atlas pretty sick, I like how the Korean girl was a Caucasian in the end...

  • Just absorbed "beasts of the southern wild" ....best film ive seen in a while...the little girl
who was not an "actor" is fantastic.....visually beautiful .....I am going through my "James lee burke" books again atm.....set in bayou country (with Dave Robicheaux)...so works well with the vibe Im riding.......................recommended .........

  • Angelina Jolie really does have the most extraordinarily beautiful face.

  • Thank you, Pauline Kael.

  • Tee hee. It's true though.

  • The film is unwatchably bad however, unfortunately. Or would be if I could bring myself to turn it off.

  • Django Unchained was far too long to be enjoyable. Though it wasn't awful, it was just below average. Thought Leonardo Di Caprio was very good though.

Cloud Atlas was very good. The make up was a bit distracting at times but I really enjoyed it. Considering I believed the book to be pretty much impossible to adapt I think they (the three directors) did a good job.

Lore is a pretty bleak watch though utterly absorbing. It's a film that most will never really feel in the mood to but really shouldn't be missed.

Stoker, f**king amazing. Just watch it.

Really good movie, liked it a lot...

  • Beasts of the southern wild is awesome.
    Loved the soundtrack too.

  • Finally watching Attack the Block, against my better judgement. About a quarter way through I realised I wasn't going to see even a little depth from any of the characters I have given up and come to bitch. Adam Buxton is obviously the talented one..

On the other hand I saw Scott Pilgrim, which I think I liked but I'm not 100% certain, or even 50%. It definitely caught me by surprise.

You clearly didn't see this abomination then?

Don't get me wrong I love Adam and Joe.

Saw Arbitrage last night. Liked Richard Gere but film as a whole seemed to be missing something.

  • I tried to watch Scott Pilgrim the other day. Wanted to like it, but really didn't.

  • I did not. Adam and Joe was great, first time I saw Star Wars toys on tv was very memorable..

  • It takes more than talent to make a film with other people's money.

I'm talking out my arse of course

Yeah, I haven't made my mind up either way yet, it just wasn't what I was expecting
