No. You've made yourself look "kind of pathetic." He's not calling you out because he doesn't agree with some bullshit like the colour of your sweet fixie bike. Godwin's Law does not apply here. He's making a judgement as to your politics in response to your perceived support for a fucked up article (from a fucked up newspaper - which just happens to have been the paper of the blackshirts).

He was quick, and wrong, to percieve my post as "support for a fucked up article." What I meant was, I've seen worse from the mail, and is it really surprising. People leap upon mail articles as an excuse to vent self righteouness, just as the mail leap on things like the Farah story to vent their bigoted nonsense.

They really are bunch of despicable cunts aren't they, if there's one newspaper I would love to see and die a quick death it's this one.
If you hate them then why are you reading them? More importantly why are you linking to them when they are going to be making money from each person that clicks the link? Could you at least be more descriptive about the story so those of us who don't intend to click in thier site don't need too.

I have to admit I clicked and read the article.
The Mail has a particularly corrosive, envy and insecurity driven agenda that really does make me feel a bit grubby after reading anything in it.
It's also quite schizophrenic- and self contradictory.
In fact it's a cracking example of "right-think", as it positively encourages the reader to hold multiple contradictory opinions in mind at the same time, which in some ways is quite impressive:

- Gold digging wife
- Family man
- How dare they trade on his name MADE IN BRITAIN to make money
- How's your mortgage doing?
- God bless the Lady Diane, princess of our hearts
- The Polish give you cancer etc etc
