Audax rides

There was a discussion about it on yacf and Steve was suggested as the person most likely of being capable of doing it (I'd suggest a few others). I don't think he's seriously planning on doing it and it would be very difficult to prove a record like that now, in this country at least.

IIRC, his unchampionship was, by his own admission, during a bit of a low moment. Mind you,I wouldn't advise close examination of the recent winners, it's a particularly weird rabbit hole likely to induce thoughts of buying a Pashley and never riding further than a nice little cafe round the corner and only when the weather isn't bad.

Just to clarify, was this all on fixed gear? I know he rides fixed, but did he do it all fixed?
