Nope, just run a really big gear, say 55-13 and I'm sure if you work our the RPM you'll see you can keep accelerating through 50, it'd sure be interesting to have a go on one of those.
Past a certain speed its always going to be faster to get in an aero position than to pedal, no matter the gearing. If it wasn't they probably would have figured it out by now and put a much much bigger gear on that thing.
