Also dude, there were some fireroads today where I was hitting somewhere in the region of 35-40mph. I'd be wary about having a gear low enough to ride up the steep bits and low enough to control the quick changes in speed on the descents. I was riding on around 65GI today and it was pretty high for the conditions (which will get quicker come May admittedly, well, I hope so at least!). I imagine anything lower than that would be much too spinny for the downhills.
