I watched this on the way to San Francisco a few weeks back.
Even BA business class, three glasses of wine, a whiskey, and 20mg of valium didn't soften the blow of how fucking awful it was. -

Well I got a copy but came too late for the Bicycle Film Society programme this year. Not a brilliant film but nothing like as bad as Quicksilver.
If enough people sign up here to come I will put on a special HBFS show at our usual location.Zebs

Ha ha I take the lack of response to my last post to mean no one wants a screening of Premium Rush says a bundle about the film

Look like it's out on DVD, now I can watch it.

It could be like a screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, with everybody singing along and shouting at the people on screen, while wearing various silly outfits (lycra, sidis, caps with flipped peaks, etc)

^^ Yeah I thought that would be the general idea of a forum screening but if there are no takers it won't happen

Don't give up too quickly. If it's not happening now, there could well be a secondium rush later.

Im not going to read a thread about a movie before I see it, am i? What if everyuone was all like "Oh, this movie is so shit (which they did, apparently), why would anyone watch it??"
And then I'd be all like "well, if everyone else reckons its shit, it must be" and then I'd be predisposed to not enjoy the film, which I think would be doing myself a disservice. A ninety minute, seven fucking dollar, cinematic diarrhoea disservice.

So you liked it?

I liked it. I mean it was shit, but enjoyable in a kind of B-movie kind of way.

Plus it gifted us with the line "Can't stop. Don't want to either." Which I feel will outlive the movie itself.

Bits of it were kinda cute... like when he had the kebab.

I saw this while on holiday.
I had pretty low expectations, but wow.
I like that the Manny character can afford a custom Parlee, with Enve wheelset and full Red gruppo*, and drives a $50,000+ SUV in the middle of NYC.
That's what keeps the film real to me.
