That's not pessimistic! I'm just saying we need to be clear that people shouldn't book tickets to come up until they know what the weather is likely to do. But yeah, maybe 12 hours notice is too late. 24 then. If you rely on public transport you have to accept and get used to being fucked around with, so they probably won't mind anyway.
