jamesrider ever been over to a good friend's house and they were all 'you HAVE to check out my holiday pics' and then you sat through them and you thought 'my God I like this person but these photos make me think that they are one of the most boring fucks in the whole world. I have to get out of here at any cost'. That's what your video is like. What feels exciting often looks shit on video. I mean people's lives makes terrible media, see FB, Twitter, LinkdIn for example - it's boring, disgusting stuff.

Im not sure if any of you have roed through london in this way but it really does look more dangerous than it is, only ant 1 point was i closer that 1.5 feet to any vehicle, our speed never exceeded 17mph and we stopped for most traffic lights, I think you lot are a bit strange, also I do not appear in the video, but sheers for the comments.
Well you should have stopped at all traffic lights for a start.
Also you can easily ride safely at over 17mph and dangerously at anything under, some of the most dangerous cycling I've seen has been people riding uncontrollably at around 5mph. -

Going in between these vans, you definitely do not have enough time to see if anything is passing these on the right before you pull out and round.
Edit: Bear in mind this is one thing, why don't you go for some Cycle Training? There's plenty of people on the forum who do it and many London Councils do it for free! http://www.lfgss.com/forum49.html

haha you lot are tough

haha i understand your pain jamesrider as i went through this shit when i put a thread out a few days ago, most people dont read the initial post properly or miss entirely the point, and spout of at you for the wrong reason.
if your asking on the video in terms of the way its put together well i think it needs a steadier position and more suited music, and maybe shot with smoother riders to make it more watchable and a point

It's like you've posted the video in the same manner as you and your mate ride: poor decision-making with little or no forethought.
I gave up after 2 minutes and decided to do something more productive, which turned out to be having a poo.

Video is unwatchable, you are clueless. I would shut down the thread in your shoes.

I completely understand what you're saying but I only did it for the thrill and the excitement, its not my usual style of riding, and its not my usual environment, im more of a country cyclist, and may of you will say well that makes it more dangerous then, and go ahead but like I said it was for the thrill of it.

jamesr, this is a big moment for you. The feedback you're receiving could enable you to literally experience a Joycean epiphany about movement, life, the nature of ego and your own place in it's cycle. In fact, I think if you read the entirety of the Dubliners (not just the short story The Dead to which I'm clearly referring to now) your video editing and also cycling would be markedly improved.

do you not have a job?

Some points:
An erratic riding style and ill-considered manouvers make not a thrilling home movie. I appreciate that you've attempted to make this an adrenalin rushing white-knuckle ride of gritty urban kool by speeding up the footage - or perhaps it was done so that the 9 mins felt only like 20 mins instead of 20 mins feeling like a lifetime - but it makes me think of a Buster Keaton film with nothing that made a Buster Keaton film good.As a suggestion next time you should consider putting the camera on the spokes.

Workplaces tend to have toilets.

If you want feedback about your film-making post it on an amateur film-making forum.
If you want feedback about your cycling post it on a cycling forum.

The epic levels of retardation this video has achieved can not be expressed in words.

I'm off sick - don't want to bring down the rest of the team. I suppose what I should've done was gone in, and made an edge-of-the-seat video showing me pushing past people in the corridors, coughing and sneezing in their faces, barging into offices with the door ajar, uninvited, and generally smearing my sickness all over the shared city space.
You know, just for the thrill of it.

Classic, 10/10, would watch again!
Well then it's pretty clear to see you riding like a chump because the camera goes everywhere you do.
