I may be missing the point, but T-V neatly paraphrase's my understanding of Colin's post.
As interesting as it is to read these tests and comparisons, they are irrelevant to the majority of people reading them;
9/10 riders (figure plucked from the air for emphasis) would be better served by eating fewer pies than buying a tunnel-tested bike.
