Don't worry, they'll be back in force. There's still plenty of grass left for them to hide in.
However, the Great Crested Newts, Natterjack Toads, Pipistrel Bats and Lesser Whirlpool Rams-horn Snails are all toast.
And good riddance to the bloody pests.
