They also take a lot less exercise than you expect, take em to the park for a half an hour sprint in the morning and again for a bit longer in the evening, they'll spend the rest of the day lying around.
Seriously, I used to go running with mine, if we were out for longer than an hour I'd have to drag them home!
Not the smartest dogs though...
