Shame about the mishmash of components though. For that price I'd be wanting a matching Record/Chorus group I reckon.

That rusty old shopper, ha ha! He has a starting bid of £30, which might not be as stupid as it looks. Not because the bike is worth anything, but because the seller might have decided to give it a go, he doesn't want to get involved unless he gets £30, if not he will chuck it in a skip. It can be a pita to have to post or wait in while someone collects, when it is only a coupla quid.

But rear is dead slack, looks like it could almost be for 27"...

Hmm, that does look odd.
it's just that the headtube appears to be parellel with the fork blade :s

Yep, that's what throwing me off. Looks almost like a 27" wheel on the front and 700c on the back, but they do seem to be the same wheel.
Strange geometry perhaps, but those forks definitely look slightly odd. -

A cracking description with this one . . .
"The bike has Poker mudgaurds fitted, the tip of the rear has broken off,** probably due to the high speed this will go**" . . .
. . . "You will be holding onto 'World Champion' bars from Sakae (38cm wide c-c) connected to an** 85cm** SR Stem".
85 cm stem - for someone with very long arms ! :)
