^^Yeah, I'm still managing to keep my 2007 mbp going, so far its had a ram upgrade, two new hard drives and a new top case, and its awaiting a new fan as well. Thinking about it, its actually had a new motherboard as well when the graphics card failed, but I didn't do/pay for that one. Never would have lasted this long without being reparable. Just hope that they keep the non retina models going for long enough for me to actually be able to afford a new one.
