A man who admitted killing a cyclist while driving under the influence of alcohol has been jailed.
Kingsley Gordon-Allen, 20, of Ashville Road in Leytonstone, was sentenced to eight years and disqualified from driving for 10 years at Wood Green Crown Court.
In January he pleaded guilty to causing the death of 56-year-old Edward Orrey in Gainsborough Road, Leytonstone, on February 9, 2013.

A man lost an eye after being attacked on New Year's Day.
Police were called to Walthamstow McDonalds in Hoe Street on January 1 just after 8am following reports of a group of men assaulting a customer.
The 51-year-old victim was taken to an east London hospital where his left eye was removed as a result of his injuries.
Two men have been charged in connection with the assault
Kingsley Gordon-Allen, 20, of Ashville Road in Leytonstone, was arrested on January 2 and charged the next day with wounding with intent and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

Well If the driver is to blame in anyway, I really hope some justice can be served for once and a strong message sent. It's about time. Just sickening that it takes something like this. Hardly confident in the outcome though, I must say.
