I usually use Velox cotton tape to finish. Much nicer than electrical tape imo.
This
I cut mine along in half so the finishing tape is only about 8mm wide.

and a nice tip for reversing rubber grips, a near impossible task.
position the grips on a fork blade or anything narrower than handlebars
start rolling the grip off
keep going...
it will roll off the end
now just unroll inwards and bingo

Haven't seen those vans grips before. Look awesome. If only the made em dual ply with black or white ends and gum in the middle.
-
• #664
Well they do straight gum and I'm sure black and white bar ends wouldn't be too hard to sort.

It was branded XLC, same generic stuff as the Tektro. Cheap, but does the job.
-

XLC are a decent enougth brand, I have a few bits from them. Not in the same league as tektro though.

drops + bar tape this weekend. I can't stop myself from trying now - however, the end product will be far from porn I'm sure.

Not so much. Cut down gropes are not a display of skill, for one thing. Clue is in the "wrap" part of the subject.
