novatecs mentioned here^^ need a lot of fuss with axle, bearings and nuts
plus cog, etc that would be as heavy as low flange novatec, which is cheaper for the pair too
my thinking is xlite pillars + 2 x ironcross 28h + novatecs
1320g with tape, lockring and nippies included
sub 250 if done right
Those low flange novatecs are like hens teeth in anything but 32 hole though (seem to remember the catalogue listing 28, and maybe 24 hole. Cant be arsed to check the PDF on my work PC. Its doesnt like it).
But I agree. Much as its nice to post a flash sounding weenie wheelset. I would'nt bother with whole conversion thing myself.
I used Pillar PSR TB 2015 spokes for my 32, 3x, novatec low-flange, cxp33 wheels. They're like revolutions, so prone to wind up. Although I found them easier to use. They needed slight retruing after a few kms, and a fair amount of retensioning. But they've been solid ever since (I'm 86Kg).
Iron cross + novatec low flange + PSR TB 2015, 32-3x rear.
Iron cross + cheap'n'light road linked above + PSR TB 2015, 24-2x front. (saves like 100g over the novatec 32 3x frant)
