What width Hoke?
Hope you went 38 or 36.Unfortunately they only come in 40 or 42. The narrow track bar fashion hasn't caught on with mainstream manufacturers yet.
Got them in 42 so I have some level of comfort whilst on the road.

You're smaller than me if i remember right.
I ride 40s on the rode and they're still wider than my shoulders. Might go to 38s. -

Those would be good wheels if it weren't for the price; not because they are inherently good, but because Mavic will give you their faster (in anything but a pure hill climb) Aksium wheels when the R-Sys spontaneously explodes.

Finally got round to taking my cracked Dawes Galaxy down to Ryan at OAK Cycles for repair. He's putting a new headtube and downtube lug in and filling a couple of dents. Then its a new paint job and a bit of a refurb, (possibly a la Hilly Ben's FW Evans tourer) as the current set up was looking a bit tired after being thrashed round London for 2 years. New bar tape, mudguards, saddle and possibly some other bits and pieces as well.
Here it is on last mini-tour I did on it before the crack appeared.
And the crack...

weird spot for a crack
tube not sufficiently reamed before headset installed? -
• #72572
I may need a new headtube on my townbike soon. It has been faced too many times during its life and the headset cups are both less than 1mm away from touching top/down tubes. In fact, on the bottom of the headtube it can't be faced anymore because you start eating into the DT lug.
