Can you not take Iberitals apart? At least the burrs?
Otherwise something about putting dry rice through followed by a lot of cheap, unwanted beans.

Heard about running rice through, never tried it, just heard someone did it.

I've been told to not put anything through at all, maybe give it a little brush...

I wouldn't worry too much about the stale coffee unless it's always storing and dispensing stale grounds every time you use it.
My Cunill stores some stale grounds, but they get stuck in places which I cannot get to, and tend to stay there, so it doesn't affect my coffee noticeably. I always use a pastry brush to clear any coffee from the chute each tme I use it though.
Latest coffee I've been drinking: Algerian Coffee Stores' Yirgacheffe. This one is nice. Not the most intense Yirgacheffe flavour/fragrance, but it does have a nice peanut nuttiness to it. I think it may be slightly stale as it doesn't pur with the thickest cream. I'd guess maybe 3-weeks post roast.
Has anyone else found some of the Algerian Coffee Stores' cbeans to be a bit stale? Their Rossa Espresso blend was super fresh, but I guess it's a popular one with a high turnover.

Can't wait to try this:
75p a can, all the way from Taiwan (not Brazil). The poem is being copied as this years valentines message. Win.

Bit of long shot, but does anyone know anywhere that sells individual (one cup) coffee filter papers? I'm in NW1 and none of the supermarkets I've been in stock them.

Yes, exactly

Currently got a bag of coffee in the grinder that my girlfriend got me from Verlet in Paris.
I'm trying to work out what it is, the only marking on the bag say's something like 'Mona'. It's probabaly the most acid coffee I've ever drank, have to either water espresso down a bit or have with milk.
Any ideas?

Just one filter paper? Just ask in a coffee shop that does filter coffee I guess, I'm sure they'd let you have one.

What's wrong with a normal size one with only one cups worth of coffee in?

Is anyone selling a Rancilio Rocky, Gaggia MDF or similar grinder?
I've got saved searches on ebay but if that's fruitless the Iberital MC2 looks promising.

I have a Cunill Colombia which I will be selling shortly. Not too big without the hopper fitted. It's a proper commercial quality machine. I will post here when it's up for sale (along with a Gaggia espresso machine too).
It's like this one:

cool, could be interested in that, please let me know when it's going up for sale
thanks
Just about to finish my first bag of beans on my Iberital MC2.
I'm going to be putting some different beans in for the next batch, what is the best way to clean the old ones out? Can you run the grinder with no coffee in, or will this damage the burrs?
I was thinking obviously use it until all of the coffee has gone, then just hoover it from both ends?
