This is my Dad's 1979 Harry Perry winter/touring bike, it has been sat under a sheet unused for 15 years, he doesn't need it any more considering he's been dead for a year.....
So, I took it apart and cleaned everything until it worked, cut the rusted spokes out of the wheels and rebuilt, replaced cables and chain, bunged on a Rolls and put it all back together with nice new bar tape. Everything else is original including the paint.
Anyway, I rode it into the studio on my coastal commute today and took a picture. It rolls very nicely but at an estimated 30lbs plus it is NOT a climbers bike. Dropped someone on a full carbon road bike on the flat though, it can't be bad!
