How would my Volvo fair against your MG do you think?
with my new tyres, lightweight racing alloys and green stuff pads, I think you are fucked.
no, really - let's find out.
like i said ^^^^^, i am going on a 'car limits' day to suss out the set up for the front end, then a day at goodwook with a mate (in his alfa), and hopefully both of us can get on one at brands later in the year.

On for wednesday.
The route from italy to briancon is a blast! col d'agnel, telegraphe and galibier. Not sure how well the beast will like the high mountains - even the gsxr was getting hot and wheezy up towards the top.

When you can afford a Quattro why not get another to tow it to events?

FFS - just onto my third set of pilot sports rear on my AMG in under 5000 miles. Spent more on tyres than the car cost!! Worth it though.

Ah, but are they both real SWB Quattro Sports or are they Dialynx replicas? Nice either way, but you can't beat the real thing. Never driven the real thing, I hasten to add, but I have driven a Dialynx replica. It was fun, in a rather unsubtle kind of way.

If you're in that area, make sure you do the Col de Mont Cenis. Fantastic road.

How long have Dialynx been making replicas? The age of the cars in the back (a Triumph 2000 estate/Ford Crapi) and the age of the hair cuts I'd say this pic is from 1985 same age as the towing car (C reg is 85 no).

Be an interesting match- FWD vs RWD and my car is what, ~1600kg whilst yours cannot be much more than half that. Easily less than half, quite possibly.
When is the car limits day?

I'm looking for something different on my 911 Turbo. The rear ones are nearly £600 a pair, and its getting silly now. Every 6k miles. I'll be getting Xmas cards from my local tyre dealer soon. He sees me more than he sees his family.
Thats a reply to Vinylvillain and his comment on Pilot Sports, by the way.

I recommend a lighter touch on the gas, or another car if you must hoon it everywhere...
What tyres are you using? Contis get better wear for a slight grip trade off. My dad switched from Assimetrico to Sport Contact 3s and said he saw a healthy uplift in tyre life on his C2.

It doesn't appear to have any wheels.
Apart from the little white ones at the back.
