Not worth a rider down thread but 5.50pm tonight junction of Drummond St/Hampstead Road I witnessed the immediate aftermath (was fiddling with my Garmin at crucial moment) of a masssively failed RLJ involving a bloke on some kind of folding bike and a scooter.
Bloke was stopped at red on other side of Hampstead Rd and I was stopped outside the Peoples Theatre, when there was bit of a lull in Hampstead Rd traffic traffic.
I was looking down to turn on my Garmin when there was a shout and a massive bang and when I look up there's a bike in bits in the road with the rider still on his feet and a scooter skidding to a halt on it's side, rider also still on his feet.
As I didn't actually see what happened I can't work out how the hell both riders emerged unscathed
unless they simultaneously bailed and it was just the vehicles that collided.
