@JB - was looking at Sylous on the web yesterday - looks like a fantastic dog.
As usual, lots of staffies in there; such a shame as they are brilliant family dogs. This thread needs more dogs - I'll try and work out how to posy a pic of our staffie, Stanley.
Tell me about it, I want him so bad but looks like mums gone off the idea.
In the mean time, she has too much spare time on her hands and knitted a jumped for my dog hahaha he looks ridiculous, he hated it apparently.

I found a very small lump on the Wolf's belly last night, was very hard to inspect it as it was in a particularly fluffy bit of his belly, he's not bothered when I touch it and he's fine in every other way, I'm wondering whether its a bite or worse a tick. would appreciate advice.

Usually when my dogs have had ticks they really hate it when you touch it, or even go anywhere near it. Obviously it may be different for cats. As silly as it sounds, do you have a magnifying glass in which you'd be able to get a closer look? And does it feel like its outside the skin, like a tick would be, or underneath the skin like a bite?

I'll try and get a magnifying glass on it, I may need to wait until MOC gets back from Belgium so he can restrain him when I do it. It does feel like its under the skin tho, I thought i saw a little red mark on it, but it was hard to see as the cat had realised what I was doing and woke up.

Could just be a fatty cyst, some of my cats have had them over the years. Ticks should be visibile.
Lovely cats iower - welcome.

Not really tick season, too cold for them - normally starts in spring iirc

Any odd lump is always worth getting checked out by a vet, though like ^^ Aroogah said, a fatty or watery cyst is quite common: especially among cats who have recently lost excess weight.

Might be the wrong place but does anyone in the Lewisham-blackheath-greenwich area need a dog walker (free) at tall?

OK I'm pretty sure it's a bite now, having had a look at it - it appears to have a small scab/puncture wound on it. I'm going to keep an eye on it over the next couple of days. It doesn't bother him at all though he laid on his back and purred whilst I inspected it earlier.
