t1-t6 are all definitely the same thickness

I've got a T5 and a T2. Both in size Medium, the T2 is definitely a more race fit though where the T5 is a bit more baggy and can easily fit a layer underneath. It's also longer.
In terms of thickness they seem to be exactly as thick. -

I went for the t5 hoping they mean autumn - spring rather than british summer when they say "Insulate yourself against harsher weather conditions with the T5."
-

I think that they mean it has sleeves, not that it's made of a thicker material.
-
• #481
Exactly, I have a long sleeve T5 and a short sleeve T1 and they are the same thickness.

just got my base-layer that I ordered yesterday and it's gert lush
That is all
Except it's cut long
Which is a good thing

Got T5 today, feels warm enough for down to 2-3º rides with a thermal base layer.
The fit is good. The grey is more of a blue steel than a grey. -

So for Christmas I got my GF one of these (T8 in red, size S for a 5' 10" lady of slim build*) and it fits really well. She says it's now her "favourite thing to wear ever". So +1 for Torm there.
*I'm obliged, by the contract she made me sign, to refer to her as "of slim build".

The hem gripper thing on my T7 has come unstitched along the top edge so it flips over all the time, which is annoying. I'm also a little unconvinced by Sportwool - the inside may not 'retain odors' but the outside still honks after a few short rides.

Soap dodger.
Sportwool is still 60% polyester so of course it'll smell after a few rides.

I hang mine in the bathroom - gets me an extra ride or two out of sportwool. I'm still in student mode

Even full merino starts to smell after a few rides. Lycra smells after one.

Post-ride, pre-shower with your kit on. sorted.
-
• #491
This.
-
• #492
I think.
I've never had a 'pre-shower' though.
-
• #493
Pre-shower. The one you have before a bath.

Nope, I'm a man.

I smell like roses. Manly roses. It's more that I was hoping to get a few days from it as I can't afford five of them and 30 mins commute twice a day tends to burn through normal tshirts.

I hang it up but it doesn't seem to make an awful lot of difference!

I dunno, my baselayer from planet x lasted a whole week of commuting without getting too bad... That was an extreme experiment though.

I don't have an issue with my jersey really. The baselayer starts to reek after about a week of commuting
-
• #497
Just gone for T8 in blue, looking forward to it arriving.
-

Can't believe people are complaining about not being able to wear something for a week without it stinking...
-
• #499
i once went a whole 2 weeks without washing my torm top.
wound up with a lovely skin rash all over my arms.
i think i actually learned something.

Sounds like Torm should add some soap and moisturiser to their range. Perhaps something with an evocative vintage cycling scent...
The T8 appears to be more for winter than the others, it's also out of stock.
