Continued progress - I'm loving this!
Thought I'd check in here as
A) I find this thread quite motivational
and
B) I had to get the bradawl out this morning to put another hole in my belt.
Since late November I've been hitting the gym 5 days a week for a programme of floor exercises, body weight exercises and kettlebells (plus a once a week "turbo circuits" session) and in the 3 months I have lost 7kgs of mass, 12% body fat and 3 inches off my waist. Still cycling the 12miles each way on the commute. My food habits haven't changed all that much, apart from laying off the midweek pints and cutting out refined stuff. I never ate processed food before, but white bread, pasta, flour, sugar etc is all brown now.
When you consider the amount of muscle I have packed on I must've lost over 10kg of fat (complete guess).
I am 5ft 9 and when I started in Nov I was 81kg. I'm now weighing in at 74kgs, and for the first time in 5 years I am sub 20% body fat. Really looking forward to getting below 15% again.
Sleeping better, waking up better, moods more even, more focused at work and above all it's fucking great just to feel like a powerful man again.
