Yes, they are usually Mavic, probably Ksyriums
You might want to start on a wheel which is faster than a Ksyrium (nearly all wheels are) even if it's several hundred grams a pair heavier than Ksyriums.
Obviously the scenario of finishing on a wheel from neutral service is rare, but it's also a scenario which is likely to involve your being highly placed at the finish too. You don't really want to be disqualified for an underweight bike after scraping home second in PR despite a late puncture.
