Hmmm, are those the planet X carbon forks? Been debating whether to try and find some forks drilled at 30mm rake to match what the low// comes with or just getting some standard road forks, but they look pretty tasty.

+76º angles?

Got no crank and pedal overlap but quite heavy toe overlap.
Angles are 75° both. Fork has 25mm rake. -

Planet X forks are like 25mm rake

So this is Mielecs "normal tubing for 120`? (and not the triangular and oval that few seems to choose here..?)

^^ but then the toptube clearance are similair to some of the alpinas on here... still, serious overlap, but otherwise a really nice build.
and electroslag, get some tifosi pistas, 35mm rake and a 45mm crown rather than 50mm crown like the nelsons, so they look seamless with intergated headtube, or external headset, i've got some and with an external headset and they're basically a straight line :)

Thanks for the tip.
Ive ended up messaging dolan about the drilling/sizing of the crown on the alpinas and asking wiggle about the crown on the pistas.Currently awaiting for cyclebasket to confirm return of their forks before i buy any others...

ahhh i feel so knowledgable :) crown on my alpinas is 45mm as well (it does seem it varies a bit though), not sure on the drilling on them though, people have done it and there is an area where it looks like it's meant to be drilled so should be fine, still though, i'd rather find out from the people themselves. let us know what they say, might possibly end up doing it myself

what are the advantages of an integrated seat post, besides a small weight gain? I've never ridden one, but seems impractical for travelling, sharing and reselling.
Disclaimer: I like your bike. -

Reply from Dolan about drilling the alpinas - "We wouldn't recommend that you do this, as it may cause a weakness in the bar and would void your warranty."
It's a pair of tifosi pista's for me then. :)

Disclaimer: I like your bike.In most cases ISP is not really lighter than standard seatposts. I cant find any reason other than "looks good" for myself on that bike, and of course "cause I can"!
When selling, just cut down the seattube and a slit in the back and you can use it with standard post and collar. -

yes it is. didn't tell them anything about tubing apart from "round" and oval chainstays

Disclaimer: I like your bike.all seatmasts allow couple of cm of movement up and down, in case you want to change pedals/saddle

Giant claim their ISPs give the best ride quality. Not sure if this translates to alloy.

pretty nice that mielec with the ISP. Not digging the carbon weave on the forks or the hubs, but personal preferences. Looks like a nice ride! Hope my sscx mielec turns out as good.
Just noticed how small is that? Looks like almost has bloody crank arm overlap
