I just had a cracking conversation with an eBay seller. Fibbing through her teeth to me and whilst asking her specific questions I emailled her the photo and lot details from the auction she bought it from less than two weeks ago.
According to her "has only needed a clean and polish" since she bought it. In reality, it has had new glass and crystal, new crown, either a new face and hands or a thorough clean of the face and hands and in addition to that she posted photos of an entirely different watch at the start of the auction.
She then started asking that I leave her positive feedback because she depends on it to make a living to which I pointed out that she asked me to pay her by bank transfer and outside of the eBay auction which would mean that it would be impossible for me to leave feedback anyway.
