^^That was basically my thinking, I wanted a bomb proof hub that'd be maintenance- free and safe for brakeless descents on my daily commute. Kit for jump-bikes is typically over-engineered, whereas track kit tends to be a little more weight sensitive - Unless you can afford goldtec on your beater I think disc-cog is a nice compromise...
