Goldtec and Phil Wood give a 44mm chainline though. Gran Compe is a 42mm. However, if it worked for you before then I won't argue. ;)

you may be right, but I ran Gran compe with EAI cog and 111mm Veloce bb on the Plum (before installing the PW bb) and it was fine...
