To go with my personalised pink Adizeros, pink compression socks and the pink lycra shorts that people keep asking me to stop wearing at races. And my pink TT bike, pink trisuit and pink sperm helmet.
Now, if anyone knows where you can find a pink wetsuit to go with my pink swim hat, I can complete the look.

15 miles in the sun today: burgess, Peckham, dulwich and brockwell parks and Clapham common. That dealt with the hangover.

Any runners interested in a pair of hardly used Salomon Speedcross 3 Trail shoes in Black (UK9 EU43 1/3)? £60 posted to your door, just slightly too small for me.

3rd Sunday in a row I've done my long loop around Victoria park. 9.4k, annoyingly close to 10. Quite a different day today compared to last Sunday, from -3 and snow to 10 and blue skies in a week.

run home from work, rucksack felt heavy with work clothes and jacket etc. took it easy as i pushed it hard home on the wednesday.saturday 3miles
just stretched the legs with the girifriend on the local park run.sunday 8miles
did two loops up swains lane and down highgate west hill in times which i was happy with and only 1 second between each run up swains lane (which is consistent anyway!). will start to do this at least once a week until i'm doing multiple laps up swains.this week got the 2x running home then some more running planned next weekend

Which parkrun you doing? I've not managed one since xmas, need to get back into the habit. Started off at Hampstead last year but switched to Finsbury Park on account of it being a bit flatter.
Running circuits of Swains/West Hill is madness. I was more worried about the consequences of falling when running down West Hill than I ever have been on a bike.

I can cheerily confirm that running in snow is considerably easier than running in the subsequent floodwater... Fun weekend.
KL - I spotted you (resplendent in pink) at the briefing of the TP last year (although didn't put name to face), are you doing it again this year? I'm looking forward to the summer when I'll start swimming again and can bust out my neon-pink, leopard print hat... Sadly the rest of my kit is disappointingly mundane.

hey budd, i'm actually doing finsbury park funnily enough. it's right on my doorstep but if hampstead is hillier then i might check that out one weekend. but i'm usually running late for these things so don't want to be in a mental rush on saturday trying to find the start!
would be interesting to know whether park run have a league table of what are its hilliest courses as i've got a couple of friends who are like 'mine is much hillier than yours' etc etc

you're a sick man. a lot of people wouldn't even be able to ride up that.
I too am interested in park runs - how long are they / what times are they etc?

haha it's not as hard as it sounds honestly.
you should come along to the finsbury park park run. everyone meets at the cafe in the centre just before 9am. it's a good way of getting you out of bed early and making use of your sat morning.
it's a great atmosphere and there are plenty of people doing it. i was really surprised by the turn out and always feel better for making the effort afterwards.

yeh it sounds fun, just seems a little pointless as it's so short... guess could do a few more laps afterwards!

I'm not, I'm off to Florida to do a bunch of IMs and a DIM in the warm instead. You need to start expanding your pink wardrobe - funnily enough, the gay interest section of e-bay can be a goldmine.

DIM as in Double or Deca? Please tell me you aren't mad enough for a Deca!
Out of interest how do you keep your bike legs while running ultras? I'm hoping to do IMWales in sept but somewhat depressingly, after a couple of years focussing on running I'm now a worse cyclist than before I started cycling 4 years ago (from a background in rowing).
I do have a yellow hibiscus and butterfly Tri-suit if that helps :-)
On the better side of things, got my delivery from sportpursuit today. Very nice pair of Zoot tri trainers, tri top and pink compression jersey, all for less than the list price of the shoes. Took a few weeks, but that was expected. Will use them again.
