Subjective as fixed wheel bicycle do have horizontal drop out, like this Condor Tempo, the point that it easier to removed wheel with mudguard attach;
Even if you don't go flying round corners, you'd still get a fair degrees of pedals strike, but since you're committed, make sure you choose a thin and narrow pedals than those MTB one to lessen the risk.
