  • Not quite the right thread, but close enough. I want to get a new bag, as my BOGear one just isn't that practical for my large bike, I have to take everything off to get it in, and no padding, wheels, etc.

    I'm looking at:

    £60 - Cheap

    £97 - Big

    £100 - Light

With the CRC one, I should be able to get my bike in with the rear wheel still on, but have to take off my saddle, maybe bars too

With the Tifosi one, I should be able to get my whole by in by just taking off the front wheel, seat can stay in.

    Any thoughts/experiences?

  • John, I would take my wheels and pedals off anyhow..because the baggage handlers are not that careful as you know, obviously you can lower your saddle. I would choose the one with the wheels..I carried my bag around Barcelona and my shoulders were destroyed returning in NL. After this I created DIY wheels and this is muchhhhhh easier to carry.

  • Get the one with the wheels, you're carrying around a lot of weight already...

    ;)

  • Got one of these going free:

I tried these a couple of years ago. Cheap ones have no padding on the inside so the plastic digs in your hand.
Non cheap ones were awesome though.
