When I tell my colleagues that I'm going for a walk at lunch I actually go downstairs to build myself a nest of my cycling clothes on the shower (single shower room) floor and go to sleep for an hour.

The door is lockable, I'm the only person that uses the showers at the moment and nobody knows where I am. Bliss.

I went through a month of punctures and had a streak of one a day for for a week and a half. After the 3rd day got sick of rerpairing so I bought a new tube every time. And bought a new tyre after 5th time. I now admit, I'm broke!

i confess that when i first heard about riding without brakes on a fixed gear I thought it the most retarded horrible pretentious idea possible. Yet while my road bike has had its wheels at the builders (about 2 weeks) i have been exclusively riding my track bike on the road without brakes and loving it.

As far as take-away pizzas go, they're pretty decent. They also have a tendancy to completely overdo it with the tomato sauce, which I enjoy.
