What time is it? Watches and horology

I'm afraid they don't do it for me either. Probably because they used to be seen most regularly on the hairy arms of self-made builders as they drove their ropey old brown Silver Shadows.

They made some lovely looking watches in the 30s-50s, but seem to have forgotten all that heritage and just knock out Oyster after Oyster. Boring.

There is one exception, in that I do like them PVD black, so at some point I may buy a Steinhart to scratch that itch.

What's wrong with that?
