Can I ask a quick question about about cranksets?
The Miche crankset I want to use on my Pomp has a 1/8 chainring, but I think the cogs used on SS freehubs are 3/32. How do people get around this? Change the chainring to a 3/32? I could do without spending the extra £££s.
Also, without going for Dura/Record chainsets, are there other light options around, which are good? The Miche Primato is 603g which looks hard to beat.
Final question (and possibly the dumbest) - how reliable are track BBs when used outdoors? My bike's going to get wet a lot, and be ridden on back roads and lanes with poor surfaces, gravel etc. Can a track BB/crankset take the punishment?
