No it isn't. There is no immediate threat to life. This is an investigative matter. I know it's sad that the police are not following this up but with the shortage of resources they have emergency staff should not be used for this.

right so my bike was just stolen from old kent road asda in the 5 min period i was inside. Its 12 speed with a pink-ish devos frame, brooks competition, chrome drop bars with brown cloth tape and has a mudguard on the back.

If anyone spots it could they please dish out some well deserved vigilante justice and call me on 07904224038. I'll put up a picture later tonight if i can find one. cheers

To be fair, Lewisham police advised me to dial 999 should I see my stolen bike in somebody's possession. A detective put that in writing too.

Just had this one stolen from outside my home in Bethnal Green while locked up in the 'secure' gated car park. It's not worth a lot, but it was my first self build so i'm really sad to see it go.

Have reported to the Police, but if anyone sees it pop up on Gumtree or down at any of the markets please let me know via PM as i'll get the email right away.

It's a Giant SCR 3 medium frame, flat Charge bars, Bontranger wheels with distinctive white 'halo' allen key skewers, Shimano 105 Hollowtech Cranks with flat unbranded metal pedals, 105 rear mech, sora front mech and unbranded brake calipers.

Police have arrested the guy whole stole my bike after they setup a sting for another bike he was selling. Mine had been sold on however they are going through his phone and emails to attempt to recover it.

Just found garden shed in muswell hill broken in and yellow felt f3 (with Brixton cycles sticker on down tube) and bianchi pista with open pro rear wheel and Mike burrows front stolen out of it. Gutted. If anyone sees either please pm me. Will be down brick lane and on EBay/gumtree to look too.
