A couple of observations

1. He actually seems quite proud of the professionalism of his doping. Kind of like 'look how smart I was to get away with it'.

2. The only type of person who could be a serial winner in that era was a heartless arsehole. Cycling got the champion it deserved.

3. Having said that, I think he is a one in twenty heartless arsehole, rather a one in a million heartless arsehole.
