As I said upthread, I have a very nice automatic gold Omega and a £150 Casio. I tend to prefer the Casio because it is more accurate, requires no maintenance, is solar powered, more shock proof etc etc.
The Omega requires servicing every few years which is not cheap. It is a dress watch, it is less practical.
In my opinion, they are both very good watches.
