  • Personally Clive's got to grow a pair. When George Graham was unveiled as Spurs boss, there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. He did a serviceable job, we won the league cup a couple of months after he arrived, but we never finished higher than tenth in the league and he used to manage the Arse, he was never going to be loved. But the clubs bigger than any manager. So you suffer it, support the team, despise the manager and hope they do enough to get the chop and you get someone better in.

Chelsea are now in manager freefall, with no one wanting to take the job because ownership have been a bit too quick to wield the axe, you've got to say this for Benitez he actually wanted the job, and they keep doing what teams who are unstable do, go from hard taskmaster to player friendly coach, to hard taskmaster to player friendly coach, never able to settle on one.

Chelsea had a young up and coming manager, with tactical nous who wanted to play attacking football, but they got rid and are now looking for a young up and coming manager with tactical nous who wants to play attacking football..

    C'est la vie
