Yeah, after dallying briefly with coloured chains (sorry world), then silver chains, I am now of the belief that chains should be that browny blue steel colour, especially on 'vintage' builds. I've a Coventry and it's very nice. They were standard spec on the Raleigh track by the looks of it, and I think we're the top of the range chain made by Renold in Manchester. That said, I've no real idea about chains. It's more an aesthetic thing. Presumably for this you want something slick and Italian. It's all about the details.
I need to get that Raleigh done so we can team up for the beginners' pursuit, eh?
