Quite right, I found a solution by pushing the bead into the middle of the rims as that's where it's deeper making it easier to take it on and off without resorting to a car tyres lever.

Isn't that just the standard method or removing tyres?

Personally, I think 28c is the perfect size for performance and comfort on moderate road surface.

the Challenge tyres? beware, they feel like they're constantly low on pressure, even when overinflated.
