I've had a bunch of Knogs. All bar one of them have packed up when used in the rain. I may just be unlucky, but I've stopped buying or using them - load of junk IMO. Real shame, becasue the fittings are super-easy, even when drunk - not that I'd ever ride in that state of course.
I've moved to Moons - brighter, better made, don't wuss out after a bit of rain, easy to recharge (USB), and similar rubber fixings for simple people like myself. All good. These are lights to be seen though, rather than for seeing (does that make sense?).
That said, I'm kind of tempted to go for a big-boys 'proper' light set on my new Pomp. Something that actually lights the road, and throws out some car-style lumens. I did a group ride at Christmas and one of the guys had a battery pack system which, although I don't like the idea of wires, was REALLY bright. The back light did this slow flash thing, kind of 'I'm so bright I only need to flash every couple of seconds' which I thought was cool, but I'm quite shallow. I think it may have been a Hope - pretty pricey.
