New shoes! New shoes!
(in other words: I just took the trainers I got for Christmas out for their first proper run. It was meant to be a 'urgh dragging myself out for a short run because I was too lazy to do an afterworker ride' run but turned into a 'holy crap new shoes are amazing' 10 mile bound around south east London to Crystal Palace and back. I can't believe it's taken me three years to experience new shoe joy.)
